Ordering Books for Your Author/Illustrator Visit

Please allow at least three weeks for processing and delivery.

 

Prepare Students and Teachers

1. Order books for the library two months before the visit and put them on display.
2. Send order forms home with the children announcing pre-orders. Please make check payable to Charlesbridge Publishing.

• Prepaid orders receive a 46% discount. Freight charges apply. A minimum order of 10 books is required to receive this discount.  (Sorry, no refunds or returns).
  
  
• Non-prepaid orders receive a 40% discount. Freight charges apply. A minimum order of 10 books is required to receive this discount.
  
  

 

Paying for the Books Sold

1. Please send payment 1-2 days after the visit.
2. Send check(s) only; please do not send cash.
3. Do not include payment with returns.
4. Note your invoice number on the check.

Returning Unsold Books

PACK all unsold books in sturdy cartons.
FILL empty space completely with paper.
TAPE securely with shipping tape.

Books purchased with the prepaid discount are not returnable.

 

Post-Author Visit Orders

Charlesbridge would be happy to supply schools with additional books after an author/illustrator visit, within 30 days.

Send your order to: Charlesbridge, Attn: Author Visit Order, 85 Main St., Watertown, MA 02472. Please include author/illustrator name and date of visit.

The same Author Visit discounts apply for orders of 10 or more books.

Charlesbridge will not be able to provide autographed books after the visit.
