Encourage students as individuals or as a group to:
- compliment 100 people
- plant 100 seeds in a community garden
- decorate and send 100 Valentines to a local nursing home
- spend 100 hours volunteering for a local organization or helping their families
- collect 100 cans of non-perishable items for a food bank
- earn or collect $100.00 to donate to a charity
- create a bulletin board of 100 beautiful words to fill a space in need of attention
- read to 100 children
- donate 100 children's books to a local homeless shelter
- write 100 letters to servicemen and women
- send 100 thank you notes
- give 100 smiles

On the 100th Day of School, your students can...
- sort and graph 100 M&Ms
- create patterns with 100 M&Ms (integrate other
objects into the pattern)
- group and count 100 M&Ms by 2s, 5s, 10s, 20s
- write 100 M&M math problems
- estimate how many M&M's are in a bag
- survey 100 people about their favorite type of M&M or their favorite color M&M
- write a story: If I had 100 M&Ms I would...
- write and illustrate an M&M adventure story
- create an M&M counting book
- respond to the question at the end of the story
