Stephen Krensky
Biography: ![]() Stephen Krensky has been a full-time author of fiction and nonfiction for children for over thirty years. He has published over 90 books, including Paul Revere's Midnight Ride (HarperCollins) and George Washington: The Man Who Would Not Be King (Scholastic). Stephen actually took up creative writing at the age of twenty. One of his favorite parts of the creative process is imagining himself in various characters' shoes, even if those characters - dragons for example - didn't wear shoes at all. After graduating from Hamilton College, he began a six-month internship at the New York Times Book Review. Since then he has been a full-time writer for children. When he feels like he's spent enough time hunched over his computer, Stephen like to play soccer, tennis and softball, and or course, he loves to read. Stephen and his family live in Lexington, Massachusetts. For more information, visit Stephen online.. Also by Stephen Krensky
