Bob Crelin
Biography: 

Artist, author, musician, inventor, husband and father, Bob Crelin has spent most of his life exploring the creative boundaries of our modern world. As a freelance artist, he has created original product design for Takamine Guitars, Ovation Guitars, Gretsch Drums, Gibraltar Drum Hardware & Dixon Drums that have influenced the look of musical instruments and accessories worldwide. As an author, Bob's popular first book, There Once was a Sky Full of Stars (Sky Publishing) has become a resource for public outreach in the International Year of Astronomy 2009. He has been interviewed for, and written many feature articles on outdoor lighting regulation and design. In 2004, Bob was honored with the Astronomical League’s Walter Scott Houston Award for his years of devotion, working to preserve the night sky for our children. An avid musician and songwriter, he has produced, recorded and performed original music for over 20 years. Bob lives in Guilford, Connecticut.
