Biography: David McPhail is the acclaimed author and illustrator of over fifty books, including, including Henry Bear's Park (Atheneum), Mole Music (Holt), and Pig Pig Gets a Job (Dutton). He says, "The pictures I see in my head are fuzzy and out of focus. That's why I draw them-so I can better see what they look like." David lives in Rye, New Hampshire.
