Student Support
Charlesbridge Reading Fluency® software guides students while they read level appropriate text on the computer screen. The software monitors for signs of difficulty and provides assistance when the student stumbles or gets stuck. It builds ongoing records of what the student has read and reread, the level of fluency for each reading, and the specific words with which the student has difficulty. A progress report summarizes performance and displays problem words for further study.

Teacher Support
The software provides the teacher with detailed reports of students’ performance, including accuracy, fluency, amount read, problem words, comprehension, and usage statistics. These reports are available cumulatively and for each separate reading. In the network version, the reports can be configured by any category necessary, for example, by classroom, book title, group, or marking period. These features can help teachers choose what to focus on during the precious one-on-one reading time they are able to schedule for each student.
