We were saddened to hear about yet another book banning incident. This time at a public school on Staten Island, NY. Boxes of books discarded in the school trash. Handwritten notes with frightening justifications for why these books should be trashed.

Charlesbridge joined several publishers whose books were found in the school's dumpster to write a letter to the NYC Department of Education. Read our message here.
