Ahmad Joudeh is a stateless refugee born in Syria and grew up in the midst of war and discrimination. He found salvation in dance, even when ISIS ordered him to stop, even when his family ordered him to stop. The tattoo on the back of his neck reads "Dance or Die" in Sanskrit and sits where the executioner's ax would fall. Now, Ahmad is an international ballet star and activist for social justice.
