Sian James is a self-taught children's book illustrator from Hong Kong with a passion for visual storytelling. After her previous life as an archaeologist, she honed her skills as an illustrator, combining her passions for history, nature and art to tell stories from the mundane to the magical. Having lived in the UK for over 15 years, she now lives in Strasbourg, France, with her husband and daughter.
