Diane Willow wrote At Home in the Rain Forest to raise public consciousness of the fact that the rain forest is a diverse and amazing ecosystem. Diane is on the staff of the Children's Museum of Boston, where she helps create scientific exhibits, artistic programs, and interactive experiences for children.

Laura Jacques, illustrator

At one time, Laura Jacques lived with her husband and two daughters in a log cabin that they built on a twenty-six acre campground that they operated in Woodstock, Connecticut. Laura grew up in Newington, Connecticut, where she developed a deep love for both nature and art.
